Pvt Robert J. Kessing enlisted in Fort Dix, New Jersey on 29 March 1944. He died of wounds received in action in Rollesbroich, Germany December 14. He was in a hospital in Belgium.He was a former Remington Rand employe and graduated from St. Mary's School and the Southside High School.
He was first buried at Temporary American Military Cemetery Fosse, Belgium Block J, Row 2, Grave 33.
