T/Sgt Eugene J. Kieras was employed at the Dimas restaurant.

Pilot Gerow gave this account of the mission events. Releases were made at an altitude of 250 feet. This ship, due to severe battle damage had left the formation near the coast of the Netherlands and ordered to bail out.

T/Sgt Kieras was killed when his parachute failed to open.
