Pvt Albert M. Abood attended high school for four years and was a shipping clerk in a knitting mill.He joined the National Guard in Brooklyn, New York on 16 December 1936.
On 13 June 1941 he enlisted at Fort Jay, New York.
He was severely injured and evacuated to the 305th Medical Battalion Clearing Station where he died of his injuries.
