Maj Hugh D. McKenzie graduated from Berkeley University. He was an advertising executive employed by The associated Oil Co. and later a staff member of the Botaford –Constantine and Gardner Advertising Agency.He joined the Regular Army on March 1941.
He is remembered at a monument in Rupt-sur-Moselle.
