Capt Wilber N. Earl graduated from Amherst College and was a salesman before he enlisted in Syracuse, New York on 31 March 1941.He was first buried at the Temporary American Military Cemetery in Andilly, France.
He is remembered at the Oneida Community Cemetery in Kenwood, Madison County, New York.
