Pvt Warren L. Griffin Jr. attended high school for four years and was employed at the Filene's Department Store before he enlisted in Boston, Massachusetts on 15 April 1941.He was taken prisoner on 13 November 1944 and died of his injuries in Germany. Whether he died in a POW camp or in a hospital is not known.
