Pfc Christian Lequieu worked on a farm before he enlisted at Fort Oglethorpe, Georgia on 3 July 1942. He trained at Camp Gruber, Oklahoma. With 42nd Division, he landed in France on 8 December 1944 and entered combat on 14 February 1945.
