S/Sgt Russell H. Danielson attended college for four years and was a salesman.He volunteered for the Army of the United States in Tacoma, Washington on 13 October 1942.
S/Sgt Danielson was killed by a direct artillery hit. According to a report of the 3042nd Quartermaster Graves Registration Company, only his legs were found. He was buried first at the Temporary American Military Cemetery in Foy, Belgium on 6 March 1945. He was given his finale resting place at Henri-Chapelle on 4 November 1948.
