Pfc Richard J. Overberger joined the U.S. Army Reserve at Fort George G. Meade, Maryland on 3 March 1943 and was sent overseas in June 1944.He was killed by artillery shell fragments.
He is remembered at the Saint Mary’s Cemetery in Patton, Cambria County, Pennsylvania.
