T/Sgt Robert F. Condon attended high school for 4 years before he enlisted in Baltimore, Maryland, on 23 December 1942.

He was awarded the Silver Star Medal for gallantry in action on 8 July 1944 against an armed enemy.

He was first buried at the Temporary American Military Cemetery in Limey, France.
