Pfc Taumo E. Maki was a driver before he enlisted in Kalamazoo, Michigan on 30 March 1942.He was reported wounded in action on 28 September 1944.
He was killed by artillery shell fragments to his skull.
He was first buried at the Temporary American Military Cemetery in Andilly, France.
