Pfc William C. Branscum attended high school for 1 year and worked on a farm. He enlisted in Los Angeles, California on 14 July 1942.He was initially buried in a temporary grave at Margraten on 29 March 1945. He was disinterred on 27 July 1948 end his remains were prepared and placed in a casket on 29 July 1948. He was given his final resting place on 18 February 1949.
