Pfc Harold V. Parker attended high school for two years and opened his own roadside tavern before he enlisted in Richmond, Virginia on 28 December 1943. He was sent overseas in July 1944.He was killed by small arms fire in his kidney.
He was first buried at the Temporary American Military Cemetery in Andilly, France.
