Warren Newman graduated from Fremont High School and worked in an aircraft factory.He joined the Air Corps of the U.S. Army Reserve in Santa Ana, California on 17 April 1943. He was commissioned at Chandler Field, Arizona on 8 February 1944 and was sent overseas in July 1944.
He was killed in a landing accident.
