Pfc Ernest L. Weiss was a foreman at the Lane Construction Corporation before he enlisted in Albany, New York on 11 January 1944. He was sent overseas in August 1944.He was killed by artillery shell fragments to his stomach.
He is also remembered at the Riverview Cemetery in Port Ewen, Ulster County, New York.
