Pfc Jesse E. Drenner attended high school for two years and was a mechanic employed by the Baltimore and Ohio Railroad Company.

He enlisted in Chicago, Illinois on 25 February 1941.
He was awarded a Bronze Star Medal for his actions on 1 December 1942 in French Morocco.
He was killed by artillery shell fragments in the neck.
