Pfc George P. Joseph arrived in the U.S. on 17 February 1938 was naturalized on 11 December 1941.
He was employed at the Chesnut Cafetaria in Philadelphia before he enlisted on 16 February 1942.
He was awarded the Bronze star Medal for his action on 26 April 1944 in Anzio, Italy.
He was killed by small arms fire in the abdomen.
He is remembered at a monument in Rupt-sur-Moselle.
