Pfc Edward G. Jendriek attended college for four years and was a clerk before he volunteered for the Army of the United States in Baltimore, Maryland on 26 February 1942.He was killed by artillery shell fragments in his face and neck.
He was first buried at the Temporary American Military Cemetery in Andilly, France.
