More information

Pvt George C. Rudin was a foreman in the manufacturing industry.

He volunteered for the Army of the United States at Fort Snelling, Minnesota on 2 February 1942.

After several assignments the company was withdrawn to an apple orchard in the area. Here they started to get some hot food, prepared by T/5 Bill Martin and Pvt Rudin. They were killed by a direct hit of artillery on the kitchen area.

He was first buried at the Temporary American Military Cemetery of Molenhoek, the Netherlands.
