More information
S/Sgt Eugene D. Musser worked on a farm before he enlisted in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma on 19 January 1944.S/Sgt Charles F. Lake:
"I was flying as tail gunner in Baker 11 position and observed aircraft #48 flying directly behind him in Baker 21 position, over Vienna, as it dropped its bombs and then did a gentle peel off to the left and went down into the undercast. When last seen, all propellers were turning, and the plane appeared to be perfectly under control."
Sgt William Haraby:
"He might have waited too long to jump and hit the ground before his chute opened."
He was officially declared dead one year and one day after he was reported missing in action.
