Pvt Floyd R. Buchanan enlisted in December 1943 and had been overseas since August 1944.

He was initially buried in a temporary grave at Henri-Chapelle on 25 October 1944. After being disinterred and after the cemetery was given a permanent status he was given his final resting place on 23 June 1948.
