Pvt Henry A. Miller attended college and was employed at the Sohio Pipe Line Company before he enlisted in Louisville, Kentucky on 11 January 1944.

He was killed by small arms fire in his chest.

He was first buried at the Temporary American Military Cemetery in Andilly, France.
