Pvt Edward Koziol attended high school for three years, and was employed at the Every Body Daily News Paper before he enlisted in Buffalo, New York on 29 January 1944.He was killed by small arms fire in his chest.
He was first buried at the Temporary American Military Cemetery in Andilly, France.
