Pvt Broadus S. Deitz was employed at the Anderson Mill before he enlisted at Camp Croft, South Carolina on 1 December 1943.He was killed by artillery shell fragments in his leg.
He was first buried at the Temporary American Military Cemetery in Andilly, France.
