S/Sgt Rodmond H. Davis attended college for two years and was a shipping and receiving clerk before he enlisted in Chicago, Illinois on 15 August 1942.

He was killed by small arms fire in his chest.

He was first buried at the Temporary American Military Cemetery in Andilly, France.

His brother, Douglas A. Davis, is buried at the American Military Cemetery of Manilla, Phillippines.
