1st Lt Ralph T. Brennan was outstanding in athletics at the St. Rose School from which he graduated in the class of 1931. He also graduated from Providence College and was employed by the American Railway Company of Providence. He was sent overseas in May 1944.

He was first buried at the Temporary American Military Cemetery in Andilly, France.
