Pvt Edward W. Fraley attended high school for four years and was employed at the Holland Furnace Company before he enlisted in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on 3 January 1944.
He was killed by small arms fire in his chest and stomach.
He was first buried at the Temporary American Military Cemetery in Andilly, France.
