Pvt Glenn V. Wright attended high school for three years and was a driver at the Smith & Phillips Store before he enlisted at Fort Benjamin Harrison, Indiana on 4 March 1944.

He was killed by artillery shell fragments to his leg.

Pvt Glenn V. Wright was first buried at the Temporary American Military Cemetery in Limey, France.
