Sgt Lloyd E. Hubbard attended high school for four years before he joined the National Guard in Beatrice, Nebraska on 23 December 1940.He was killed by small arms fire.
He was first buried at the Temporary American Military Cemetery in Andilly, France.
He is also remembered at the Evergreen Home Cemetery in Beatrice, Nebraska.
