Pvt Charles M. Ricketts was employed at Jeffersonville Boat & Machine Works before he enlisted in Louisville, Kentucky on 10 January 1944. He was sent overseas in October 1944.He was taken prisoner and died in Stalag IX-B. The exact cause is not known.
