Pfc Donald D. Dunn was a mechanic and repairman before he volunteered for the Army of the United States at Fort Thomas Newport, Kentucky, on 18 March 1942. His divorce was final in November, 1944.He was first buried at the Temporary American Military Cemetery in Champigneul, France.
