Capt Robert C. Tillson graduated from Wayland High School in 1937 and Massachusetts State College in 1941.He enlisted on 14 July 1941 at Fort Meyers, Virginia and was sent overseas in September 1944.
He was reported wounded in action on 24 November 1944 in France and recovered for two months in a hospital in England.
