Pfc Walter S. Taylor enlisted in Hartford, Connecticut on 31 July 1942 and went overseas in October, 1944. A graduate of Brighton High School and Trinity College, Hartford, Conn., he was employed on his summer vacations by Delco Appliance Division. His father was an artillery sergeant overseas in World War 1.He was cided as an expert infantryman.
