Sgt Joseph T. Gusch enlisted at Fort Devens, Massachusetts on 17 February 1942.He was a graduate of St. John's school in Connecticut. He was employed by the Sprague Meter Co. in Bridgeport before entering the service.
Sgt Gusch fought in Africa, Tunesia, Sicily, Italy, France and Germany.
