Pfc Jack E. Kellogg graduated from Jefferson High School and was a student of the the University of Oregon.He joined the U.S. Army Reserve in Eugene, Oregon on 3 October 1942 and attended the University of New Hampshire under the army specialized training program and was sent overseas in October 1944.
