Harold B. Vail graduated from Green High School and operated the Dependable Cleaners before he enlisted on 22 November 1943 in Toledo, Ohio. He was sent overseas in May 1944.He is remembered at Oak Grove Cemetery, Bowling Green, Wood County, Ohio.
