Pfc Albert L. Altobell enlisted in Rutland, Vermont on 8 January 1944.He was first buried at the Temporary American Military Cemetery in Limey, France.
His nephew, Sgt Vigilio P. Romano, was killed in France in August 1944 and is buried at Brittany American Cemetery in France.
