Pfc Russell N. Snow graduated from Westwood High School before he enlisted in Newark, New Jersey on 1 September 1943. He was sent overseas in April 1944.At the time of his death his brother George served with the Army Air Corps in England.
He was first buried at the Temporary American Military Cemetery in Limey, France.
