1st Sgt Sig J. Foley attended high school for 4 years and was a mechanic and repairman before he volunteered for the U.S. Army on 26 March 1942.He was killed in an automobile accident.
He was first buried at the Temporary American Military Cemetery in Champigneul, France.
He is also remembered at the Edgewood Memorial Park, North Little Rock, Pulaski County, Arkansas.
