Pvt Clarence A. Maeyens attended Benjamin Harrison High School and was a waiter before he enlisted at Fort Benjamin Harrison, Indiana on 13 October 1943. He was sent overseas in March 1944.He was first buried at the Temporary American Military Cemetery in Andilly, France.
