T/5 John S. Sharp II enlisted at Camp Blanding, Florida on 17 April 1943.He attended high school for 4 years. He attended attended Davidson College.
He was KIA when his unit advanced on and took the town of Heckhalenfeld, despite heavy opposition.
He was first buried at Block S, Row 9, Grave 222.
