Pfc Victor O. Draeger graduated from Fort Atkinson High School in 1941 and was employed at the Moe Dros Manufacture Company before he enlisted in March 1942. He was sent overseas in May 1944.He was reported seriously wounded in action on 13 September 1944 and died two days later.
He was first buried at the Temporary American Military Cemetery in Champigeul, France.
