Pvt George W. Voynick Jr. was a salesman at the Nestle Lemur Company before he enlisted in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on 6 August 1943. He was sent overseas in March 1944.He was killed by artillery shell fragments.
He was first buried at the Temporary American Military Cemetery in Andilly, France.
