T/Sgt Delbert T. Yardley attended high school for one year and was employed at the Dexter Company before he enlisted at Fort Des Moines, Iowa on 10 June 1942.He killed by enemy machinegun fire.
He was first buried at the Temporary American Military Cemetery in Andilly, France.
