S/Sgt Andrew Sulich attended high school for two years and was a miner before he enlisted in New Cumberland, Pennsylvania on 21 August 1941.

He died of wounds he received on 30 September 1944 caused by artillery shell fragments to his radius.

He was first buried at the Temporary American Military Cemetery in Andilly, France.
