Pfc Henry D. Palmer was employed at the Duncan Mill before he enlisted at Camp Croft, South Carolina on 19 August 1943.He was killed by artillery shell Fragments.
His brother James F. Palmer is remembered on the Tablets of the Missing at Sicily-Rome American Cemetery.
