Pfc Thomas H. Camp was employed with the Works Progress Administration Project before he was enlisted at Fort Oglethorpe, Georgia on 16 September 1942.

He died from the blast of an artillery shell.

He was first buried at the Temporary American Military Cemetery in Andilly, France.
