Pvt Thomas F. Consley was employed on farms before he entered the service. He had been overseas since January 1942, and served in Iceland, England, France and Belgium. His last letter was written on November 27, and in it he said that he was in a replacement camp and exptected to be moved the next day. He added the hope that he would be home by March.
Private Consley formerly lived on a farm near Madison, Ind. He trained at Camp McCoy, Wis., and Fort Custer, where he was stationed for 13 months. While he was stationed here he married the former Miss Helen Baldwin in May, 1941.
