Pfc Edward K. Lindsey attended high school for four years before he enlisted in Kalamazoo, Michigan on 29 April 1943.

He was officially declared dead one year and one day after he was reported missing in action. At that time his unit was fighting in the vicinity of Nancy, France.

He is also remembered at the Oak Grove Cemetery in Montague, Muskegon County, Michigan.
