Pfc Robert H. Bradburry attended high school for one year and was employed at the Lorraine Manufacturing Company before he enlisted at Fort Devens, Massachusetts on 2 February 1942.

He was killed by small arms fire in his chest.

He was first buried at the Temporary American Military Cemetery in Limey, France.
